The mission of the Viking Service Center South in Riviera Beach, Florida, is best described by
Lou Correia, general manager of the
spanking new $8 million state-of-the-art
marine facility. “Our goal is to provide
Viking Yacht and Viking Sport Cruisers ’
owners with the
finest service
possible,” says
Lou, who also was
Viking Yachts’ production manager from 1989 through 1999. |
|
| In addition to handling warranty
issues for Viking Yacht and Viking
Sport Cruisers, Lou’s staff of 35 is fully
equipped to perform propeller, shaft and
running gear work, mechanical and
electrical repairs, along with fiberglass,
gelcoat and bottom painting chores. |
| A new crane, specifically designed
for repower work was recently added to
the equipment inventory, which also
includes a 150-ton Travelift, 18 deepwater
slips, floating concrete docks and
a covered building capable of storing
boats with tuna towers. A fleet of trucks
provides mobile service when needed. |
|
| At present, Viking is the only
manufacturer in the country with a
satellite service facility solely designed
to accommodate its owners exclusively.
All work is performed according to
schedule and appointments should be
made through your Viking dealer. |
| The Viking Service Center South
offers first class service and we would
not have it any other way.
